The Agentic Artificial Intelligence for Business: Advanced Workflows and Automation Certificate prepares participants to move beyond foundational AI use and into the identification, design, configuration, testing, extension, and evaluation of AIenabled agents and workflows that address real workplace needs.
Participants work from authentic business use cases to build AI agents and automations, extend selected solutions through connected tools and information sources, and evaluate whether those solutions are reliable, appropriately governed, and valuable enough to refine, pilot, deploy, scale, or discontinue.
*Participants must have access to an enterprise, paid, or companysponsored account associated with their large language model platform of choice, with the features and organizational permissions required to build, configure, and test AI agents and connected workflows.

Program Structure
MODULE 1
AI Agent Opportunity & Development
2 hrs
Identify a meaningful workplace opportunity and build a custom AI agent using the PERCH framework to define purpose, evidence, rules, connections, and human oversight.
MODULE 2
AI Automation Opportunity & Development
2 hrs
Identify a repetitive or multi-step workplace process and create an AIenabled workflow that reduces manual work while preserving appropriate human oversight.
MODULE 3
Connected AI Systems
2 hrs
Extend an existing agent or workflow by connecting it to additional tools, information sources, or services required by the business use case, including APIs at an approachable level.
MODULE 4
Validation, Governance & Value
2 hrs
Test the solution against realistic and unexpected scenarios, define human-review and escalation controls, and determine whether it should be refined, piloted, deployed, scaled, or discontinued.
*Upon successful completion, each participant will receive an Intel® Digital Readiness Certificate and a personalized Artificial Intelligence Learning Summary documenting demonstrated capabilities, completed applications, responsible-use practices, and recommended opportunities for continued development.
