Bio
Cas Maxwell grew up in Morgan County, Ohio, 12 miles outside a town of just 1,600 people. Raised in Appalachian Ohio, he developed a strong work ethic and a passion for community, education, and small business growth. After attending Kent State University, he launched his first businesses in hospitality, laying the foundation for a multifaceted career spanning artificial intelligence, education, and technology development.

As the co-founder of AI OWL, Cas helps lead a team dedicated to AI-driven workforce training, software development, and game-based learning. AI OWL has pioneered Ohio’s first AI Ready credential, developed immersive AI training programs for students, and created investigative software that streamlines case management for law enforcement. Through partnerships with Intel, Khan Academy, and other industry leaders, AI OWL is positioning Ohio at the forefront of AI innovation in both classrooms and workplaces.

Cas is deeply committed to education and small businesses, ensuring that technology is accessible and practical to help entrepreneurs and students succeed. He serves on multiple community boards and sits on the executive committee for the Ohio Chamber’s Small Business Council, where he advocates for policies that support innovation and economic growth. His work in AI and business has also been recognized by Smart Magazine, which named him one of Columbus’s top business owners.

Beyond AI, Cas leads Enjoy Brands, a multi-unit hospitality group that includes Maxwell’s Pizza, River Valley Social, and other ventures focused on bringing people together through great food, entertainment, and shared experiences. Enjoy Brands is built on the belief that hospitality should be more than just serving food—it should create community, foster connections, and make a lasting impact.
